The performance marks 20 years of Dweezil Zappa presenting the music of his father, Frank Zappa, in a live touring format. The milestone tour centers on two decades of interpreting and performing selections from the catalog on stage.
Over the past 20 years, Dweezil Zappa has focused on bringing Frank Zappa’s compositions to live audiences with an emphasis on both precision and reinterpretation. His performances span rock, jazz, orchestral, fusion, and experimental styles drawn from the original works.
The DZ20 tour will feature more than two hours of music. The set is expected to include fan favorites, deep cuts, improvisational sections, and rearranged material from across Frank Zappa’s career.
