John Fogerty will perform at the Bethel Woods Event Gallery on Sunday, Sept. 13, as part of his extended Legacy Tour, joined by Steve Winwood. Tickets for the show are already on sale via Live Nation.
The Bethel performance is part of a September run that includes stops in Chicago, Bridgeport, Boston, Atlantic City, Charlotte, and Miami. The tour celebrates Fogerty’s decades-spanning career and comes ahead of his reception of the Johnny Mercer Award, the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s highest honor, at the Induction and Awards Gala in New York City on June 11.
Fogerty, 80, recently released Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years, an album featuring newly recorded versions of 20 of his most beloved songs, created with his family band and executive produced by his wife, Julie. The album has received acclaim from Rolling Stone, NPR, Billboard, and The Guardian, and debuted in the top 10 on multiple U.S. and international charts.
As the former frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival and a solo artist, Fogerty has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. His iconic hits, including “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” remain staples of American rock music, and three of his songs have surpassed one billion streams each.
Fans at the Bethel Woods Event Gallery can expect a mix of CCR classics and Fogerty’s solo material, performed alongside Winwood, in a set that blends rock, blues, country, and swamp rock with Fogerty’s signature storytelling.
