Collective Soul will perform at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on Friday, Aug. 28, as part of the group’s ongoing North American headlining tour.
The concert follows the recent release of the band’s latest studio album, Touch and Go, which debuted on July 31 through Fuzze-Flex Records. Distributed physically by AMPED Distribution and digitally via Virgin Music Group, the 10-song record is available across digital platforms, CD, and 180-gram teal-marble colored vinyl.
The group also debuted a new music video for the album track “Eye On You” on their official YouTube page. Frontman Ed Roland noted that the song draws musical inspiration from ’80s New Wave music and The Cars.
The current touring lineup features Ed Roland on vocals, guitar, and piano, Dean Roland on rhythm guitar, Will Turpin on bass, Jesse Triplett on lead guitar, and Johnny Rabb on drums. Over a three-decade career, the multi-platinum group has earned seven number-one singles, including “Shine,” “December,” and “The World I Know.”
