The Bannerman Castle Trust, in collaboration with Broadway in Beacon, will present a live musical revue titled Epic Broadway on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, 2026. The theatrical event will take place outdoors on the Bannerman Island Stage, set against the historic structures of the island.
The performing cast features singers and dancers with more than 30 collective Broadway and Off-Broadway credits. Scheduled performers include Tony Award nominee Sean Allan Krill, Mamie Parris, Melvin Tunstall III, Anne Fraser Thomas, and Will Reynolds, alongside a large ensemble of professional vocalists.
The event organizers, Broadway in Beacon, were founded by Jen Malenke and Will Reynolds and co-produced by Alex Kunz. The organization recently won a Hudsy Award in 2026 and hosts monthly musical theatre open mic nights throughout the local region.
Ticket prices are set at $80 for premium seating and $75 for general seating, with all ticket proceeds helping to fund ongoing restoration projects on the historic island. Space is limited, and reservations can be made through the official Bannerman Castle website or by phone.
To access the performance, attendees will board tour boats departing from the Beacon dock at 2 Red Flynn Drive, located across from the Metro-North station. Boats are scheduled to leave at both 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. ahead of the 8:00 p.m. showtime.
Ticket holders will also receive a short guided tour of the island’s historic trails, gardens, and structures prior to the start of the musical revue. The two-night event is officially sponsored by The Festival, a separate three-day outdoor music event taking place in Kingston this August.
