Rolling Stone has selected the historic Hutton Brickyards riverfront property in Kingston as the site for its first-ever music and culture festival, Stateside, scheduled for July 4.
The boutique event aims to celebrate the spirit of Americana within the heart of the Hudson Valley. The festival features a limited capacity of under 4,000 attendees to maintain an intimate experience centered on music, local food vendors, an artisan market, and traditional Independence Day festivities, including a fireworks display on the banks of the Hudson River.
Two-time Grammy-nominated artist Noah Kahan will headline the inaugural lineup. Kahan, currently supporting his fourth studio album, “The Great Divide,” will be joined by a diverse roster of performers including Gigi Perez, Sydney Rose, Arcy Drive, Bo Staloch, Devon Gilfillian, Derby, Calder Allen, and Michaela Anne.
The event highlights several partnerships designed to integrate with the local landscape. Hertz, the festival’s official car rental partner, will offer exclusive on-site perks and a private lounge for guests who travel to Kingston in a Hertz rental. Scout Motors will debut the “Tailgate Sessions,” a performance and hangout space designed like a modern Americana garage.
Beyond the main event on the Fourth of July, the festival offers weekend-long programming from July 3 through the morning of July 5. These packages include riverfront luxury accommodations on the Hutton Brickyards property, along with curated dining, entertainment, and wellness experiences.
Beverage partners for the event include Boston Beer Company, which will provide Dogfish Head, Sun Cruiser, and Angry Orchard products. Dogfish Head is also planning a special product launch specifically for the Stateside debut.
