Army Black Knights football will open the 2026 season at home as part of a historic moment for the program, highlighting a schedule that includes conference matchups across the country and the traditional season finale against Navy Midshipmen football.

Army West Point Athletics announced the full 2026 schedule with the American Athletic Conference, where Army competes as a football-only member. The Black Knights will enter their third season in the conference after posting a 12-4 league record in their first two years and earning bowl appearances in both seasons.

The 2026 campaign begins Sept. 5 when Army hosts Bryant Bulldogs football at Michie Stadium. The game will also mark the grand reopening of the stadium following the completion of the Michie Stadium Preservation Project.

Army will open conference play the following week at home against South Florida Bulls football on Sept. 12, marking the first meeting between the two teams since Army joined the conference.

Road games during the season include trips to face Temple Owls football on Sept. 26, Louisiana Tech Bulldogs footballon Oct. 3, Tulsa Golden Hurricane football on Oct. 23, and Memphis Tigers football on Oct. 31. The Oct. 23 game at Tulsa will be played on a Friday night and broadcast on ESPN platforms, continuing Army’s streak of primetime weeknight games. The Black Knights are 6-2 in Friday games since 2016.

Home conference games will also include matchups against Tulane Green Wave football on Oct. 10, Florida Atlantic Owls football on Oct. 17, and East Carolina Pirates football on Nov. 21.

Army will host Air Force Falcons football on Nov. 7 in one of the annual service academy matchups.

If the Black Knights finish among the top two teams in the conference standings, they would compete in the American Athletic Conference Football Championship Game on Dec. 5, hosted by the top seed.

The regular season concludes Dec. 12 with the 127th edition of the Army–Navy Game against Navy at MetLife Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m., and the game will air on CBS.

The conference is expected to release additional broadcast details and kickoff times for early-season games later this spring. Army’s home games will continue to air on CBS Sports Network through the program’s current television rights agreement, which runs through 2028.

Season ticket deposits for the 2026 season are now available, with fans able to secure seats for all six home games at Michie Stadium.
