History and haute cuisine will converge on Saturday, May 23, 2026, when six Hudson Valley chefs recreate the RMS Titanic’s legendary 11-course First Class Dinner for an exclusive benefit on Bannerman Island. The event, limited to 40 guests, runs from 5 to 10:30 p.m. and raises funds for the preservation of the historic Bannerman Castle and island trails.
Guests will board the RV Estuary Steward at Beacon, N.Y., for a 20-minute cruise to the island, where they will enjoy the meticulously recreated dinner, beverage pairings, live music, theatrical performances, and a commemorative Titanic Wisteria-pattern plate to take home. Attendees are encouraged to wear period-accurate attire. Tickets are $450 each and available at BannermanCastle.org.
“This isn’t just a meal; it’s a meticulous historical reconstruction,” said Bannerman Castle Trust Executive Director Neil Caplan. The event, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, will support the stabilization and restoration of the iconic castle and structures on Pollepel Island.
Bannerman Castle Trust, a nonprofit partner of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, works to preserve the island’s historic structures and promote heritage tourism in the Hudson Valley.
