The Howland Cultural Center (477 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508) and Bannerman Castle Trust are hosting their second annual Hudson Valley landscape exhibition, Bannerman Island and the Mighty Hudson River, from Jan. 10 through April 12, 2026.
The show features fine art paintings, watercolors, prints, photography and mixed media works capturing the Hudson River Valley, with a focus on Bannerman Island and Castle, the historic site located in the river between Beacon and Cold Spring. Artists present a variety of styles, ranging from traditional and representational to abstract interpretations.
The exhibition opens Saturday, Jan. 10, with a free reception from 1 to 3 p.m., including food, refreshments and surprise musical performances. Most works are available for purchase.
Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m., with weekday visits available by chance or by appointment. The exhibition offers Hudson Valley residents and visitors an opportunity to explore the region’s landscapes through diverse artistic perspectives.
