Riko’s Pizza, the Connecticut-based franchise known for its signature thin-crust tavern-style pies, announced plans to expand into Westchester County with two new locations set to open in 2025 and 2026.
The company confirmed that the first restaurant, located at 423 Tarrytown Road in White Plains, will open in November 2025, followed by a Larchmont location at 124 Chatsworth Avenue in Spring 2026.
Both venues will serve Riko’s signature menu of bar pies, create-your-own pizzas, oven-roasted wings, made-to-order salads, and shareable sides. Each location will feature a full-service bar with a rotating list of local craft beers, curated wines, and specialty cocktails, along with indoor and outdoor dining areas and dedicated spaces for takeout and delivery orders.
“Calling all Westchester residents and surrounding communities—fear no more, Riko’s is coming to rescue you from the mediocre pizza experiences that have plagued your county for far too long,” said Rico Imbrogno, founder and CEO of Riko’s Pizza. “Our Stamford locations have been serving Westchester residents for years, and now we’re bringing the experience directly to them. Establishing a presence in Westchester County marks a significant milestone for our brand.”
The expansion will be led by new multi-unit franchisee Spencer Thune and his team. Riko’s, which originated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, entered the New York market in 2020 with a full-service restaurant in Levittown, followed by a second location in Merrick in 2022. These Long Island restaurants, along with the upcoming Westchester openings, will anchor the company’s growth throughout the Empire State.
“As a native New Yorker and long-time business operator, expanding Riko’s presence in New York has been a major goal,” said Carl Bachmann, president and COO of Riko’s Pizza. “Westchester is a phenomenal market, and there’s nothing quite like Riko’s in White Plains or Larchmont. From families and sports fans to groups of friends looking for great food and a fun atmosphere, our restaurants offer something for everyone.”
Founded in 2011, Riko’s Pizza operates four corporate-owned and six franchise-owned locations across Connecticut, Florida, New York, and North Carolina, with several new openings planned along the East Coast. The brand has earned a following for its thin, crispy bar pies—especially its signature Hot Oil Pie—as well as oven-roasted wings, salads, and desserts, all served in a warm, neighborhood-style setting.
