The Lemonheads return to Woodstock in November
Alt-rock icons The Lemonheads are headed to Bearsville Theater (291 Tinker St, Woodstock, NY 12498) this fall, bringing with them Love Chant—their first album of all-new original material in nearly 20 years. The band takes the stage in Woodstock on Thursday, November 21, for a performance that’s sure to be a mix of nostalgic favorites and fresh, hard-hitting tracks from this long-awaited release.
Led by the ever-compelling Evan Dando, The Lemonheads rose to prominence in the ’90s with hits like “It’s a Shame About Ray” and “Into Your Arms.” But this tour marks a new chapter for the band. Love Chant, out October 24 via Fire Records, features a star-studded lineup of collaborators including J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr, longtime musical partner Juliana Hatfield, Adam Green of The Moldy Peaches, and members of the Blake Babies and Bevis Frond.
The album’s lead single, “In The Margin,” has already dropped, showcasing Dando’s unmistakable mix of ragged charm and emotional clarity. Expect the same blend of half-broken, half-beautiful energy onstage in Woodstock—an intimate show in a town steeped in musical legacy.
